Conclusion:

The Jekyll Cazador starts off with a leather and sweet cedar up front, and complimented by a slight cocoa and an odd note that gave me the thought of cardboard.. Not great. As the second third began some mineral notes and a nuttiness added into the mix, which was decent addition but nothing special to take this blend up in my book. Hoping for a bit more depth and notes I enjoy in the final, I was greeted with a creamy coffee and cocoa, as well as a cayenne pepper note in the background. Definitely an improvement from the first two thirds, but still nothing special. This is one I likely won’t revisit unless I am kicking back to enjoy the 1931 film. After all, maybe it’s meant to be smoked in sequence with the film. Certainly I would live to try the full Monster release of this blend. Still on the hunt!
