Conclusion:
The Skinny Jason starts off with a mouthful of pepper and earth before transitioning to some sweeter notes of natural tobacco, chocolate, and a slight blueberry note. Not too bad as the blueberry note is faint but has me wanting more. The second third really takes off as the chocolate comes through more, along with that blueberry note. It gives me chocolate covered blueberries vibes, however there is a gritty earth on the back end that holds it back just a bit. The final third added a decent nuttiness, but the chocolate became a bit more bitter, and the blueberry note slowly faded into the background. Coffee and earth also complimented the nuttiness. Overall, the second third was where it was at, while the first and final were mediocre at best. I’d certainly pick up and smoke a few more of these as that second third really was somewhat unique and delicious. I’d love to try the full size release, perhaps when the Redux releases, for comparison.
