LH Cigars Aniversario Limited Edition

LH Cigars is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on the American market with a 5.88×52 parejo. These dimensions may seem familiar to the Cuban-Enthusiast, as Aniversario is a homage to Cohiba’s Siglo VI. These are hand-rolled by Tabacos de Costa Rica, the same factory known for producing Atabey, Byron, Casdagli, & More. Using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf with undisclosed binder and fillers, you can count on a world-class experience and flavors.

“The Cohiba Siglo VI has always been a personal favorite for its elegance and complexity,” said Syris in a press release when the cigar was announced. “The LH Limited Aniversario is my tribute to that legendary cigar, designed to capture its spirit while introducing a unique profile that sets it apart.” – Luxury Cigar Club

Conclusion:

Everything I’ve smoked from Costa Rica has really caught my attention, so learning LH Cigars are produced there immediately had me intrigued. From light up the smoothness of this blend was apparent. Initial red pepper spice, cocoa and woody were the main notes with a slight floralness in the background. On the retro I got a rhubarb note which was a nice and unique addition. The second third for me is where it really kicked off. Cocoa, cherry, and a dark chocolate were the primary notes, and a damn good caramel and strong dark fruit chocolate note on the retro. I couldn’t put this thing down. The final third continued with the dark fruit chocolate note, and an espresso was added to the mix, along with some wood on the back end. Again on the retro, that same caramel and dark fruit chocolate filled the palate. This is definitely a box worthy cigar in my opinion. Excited to try more LH Cigars. Overall score of a 95.
