J London’s Luxury Collection is the home of their famed Gold Series, but now there is a new addition, Mr. London.Â
This new limited edition is very small batch, only 400 boxes of 10 were rolled. Made in collaboration with Eladio Diaz of Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera, better known as Davidoff’s Master Blender. On top of all that goodness, these cigars have been aged one-year post-roll! Mr. London is an extremely complex cigar created by two of the greats.Â

Conclusion:Â
At first light a large blast of black pepper was most noticeable, and after a few puffs a wet wood, red pepper, and citrus peel were apparent. Somewhat of an odd profile to start. About an inch in a delicious caramel note joined to add some sweetness to the mix. On the retro the main note was a dark tangy fruit. Completely different from the flavor profile of the first third. Second third started off with a switch up to more of a cedar from the wet wood, along with the citrus peel and a black pepper. About half way through a dark fruit and a chocolate note entered, giving the blend a delicious combination of flavor. To round out Mr. London, the final third further added some more complexion and smoothness with primary notes of chocolate, dark fruit, cedar, and a distinct cherry note in the final inch. This is a cigar I will find myself smoking many more of. If only that first started off a bit on the smoother side this would have gotten a top top score.
