Conclusion:Â
With so much age on this one, I expected some very smooth notes, and that is exactly what I got. From the light up the strong cedar muskiness was not overpowering, but rather offered depth and roundness without being so upfront. The pepper and cuban twang sat in the background complimenting the more prominent notes. In the second third the milk chocolate and cedar were most distinguished, and a dark fruit and floral note wavered in and out, with pepper and muskiness in the background. As the cigar smokes the milk chocolate becomes stronger and stronger, and it’s delicious. Cedar is the primary complimentary note as the cigar comes to a finish. Overall, this is a great Cuban blend for any smoker, as many say. Great flavor notes, and with some age, the smoothness only adds to the overall flavor, getting a score of 94.Â
