Conclusion:

From what i can recall, as there is not much information out there regarding this blend and brand, is a blend the guys at Fanatix Cigar House brought into their lounge after visiting Chico Rivas in the DR. They offered a limited amount of these for a very short time. My attention is immediately drawn to the cellophane, which is a rich golden brown from the aging of this cigar. I’ve never seen a cellophane coated with oils like this. So immediately i’m thinking, this will be smooth as hell. This one kicked off with some red pepper followed by cedar and strong cardamom and baking spices. Not really something I enjoy. As the second third hit a nice milk chocolate came forward and pushed the cardamom back a bit, and a citrus peel came in in the background. A little bit better but still, the cardamom and baking spices somewhat controlled this third again. But.. as the final third hit, a really nice creamy milk chocolate and coffee took over the profile and pushed the unwanted notes back into the background. A floral component also joined in but not too overpowering. This final third was definitely the best of the three, but even as I went through the final third, the cardamom kept trying to push its way forward. Not really my jam. This is one I may revisit some day, maybe in the corona size, and I’d recommend this for those who want to try more unknown blends with a ton of age, and those who enjoy more mild blends.
