In 2007, Pure Aroma Cigars, Inc. released a five-vitola line under its Diplomacy Series named the D’Crossier Golden Blend. It was made up of an Ecuadorian wrapper covering a Dominican binder and filler tobaccos sourced from both Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. Seven years later, the company followed that release up with the D’Crossier Golden Blend 10 Years, a line that was not only made up of cigars that had been aged for more than a year in boxes before being released, but also featured tobacco from the 2004 harvest.

Conclusion:
On initial light a blast of pepper and cinnamon hit the palate. It’s not overpowering, but certainly strong. On the back end I get this clove note that lingers in the mouth, along with some cedar and earth. About an inch in a slight cocoa note joins on the back end, with a slight black pepper. So far a very unique and delicious blend with superb construction. The second third continues with the same profile, cinnamon and clove, slight cocoa, slight black pepper, and a bit of cedar. On the retro I am blasted with pepper, cocoa, and cedar. Mid way through the second third the cocoa transitions to a nice strong milk chocolate. Very tasty. As the final third begins the cedar and milk chocolate notes remain in the forefront, but a saltiness has meshed in. On the retro I get a floral note, and what seems similar to a lime zest. The floral note and amount of cedar is a bit of a turn for me. This blend was on track for an exceptionally high score for me but unfortunately took a bit of a turn in the final third. Still, a very good cigar from Pure Aroma Cigars. Definitely work a 5 pack and box if this is your style of flavor profile. The cinnamon and clove was delicious through the first two thirds, and the milk chocolate added a nice touch. 93 overall.
