With the trend towards larger ring gauges, we reintroduced one of our original Cuban bespoke vitolas – the Super Belicoso. Our Super Belicoso has the complex and full flavour a large ring gauge delivers. With the densely packed Tripa consisting of aged USA Pennsylvania Broadleaf, Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian embraced by a Kelner Family Reserve binder and Dominican Cotui wrapper this cigar delivers the dominant characteristic of the Traditional line: an extraordinary rich and distinctively sweet flavour emulating the original Cuban blends Jeremy worked with 2 decades ago.

Conclusion:
Initial light up blasts me with a tangy woodiness followed by baking spices and some bread on the back end. After a few puffs a distinct raisin-like note joins, a very pleasant addition. About a half inch in the baking spices fall off and a citrus note joins in. So far it’s been very smooth and aside from the woodiness, very good. An inch or so in and a slight pepper spice joins along with a milk chocolate note, and the baking spices have rejoined. The raisin note is no longer apparent. On the retro I get mostly wood and baking spices. As the second third begins the milk chocolate, baking spices, and wood are the main notes. The citrus is slight but still there. As the second third burns down, the milk chocolate becomes more prominent and reminds me of a chocolate pudding. Very tasty. The final third continues with the same notes, however the woodiness is now at the forefront as the milk chocolate takes a back seat. As the cigar finishes up the last few puffs are predominantly milk chocolate again with some wood to compliment. Strength started medium and built into full. Overall, the raisin at the start, and milk chocolate throughout was delicious, but the woodiness was not to my liking. Final rating of a 91.
