Conclusion:Â
First light is very nice as a smooth floral creaminess hits the palate, accompanied by some wood. The draw is unfortunately fairly tight, but manageable for now. The creaminess has morphed into a caramel, with some bready after notes. On the retro I get a sharp floral and wood note. One inch in and the burn is as perfect as a burn can get, the draw is still a bit snug but a good amount of smoke produced. You can certainly tell this is an aged cigar. The caramel creaminess is absolutely delicious and smooth, but the floral note puts the flavor off a bit for me. Second third begins with a bit of leather added to the mix, and a nice nuttiness mixed with a cornflake. After a few puffs into the second third a delicious raisin note joins. As the second third continues a cedar note joins as now the main notes are cedar, leather, and a slight sweetness on the backend. Final third begins with a bang! A delicious creamy milk chocolate that gives me hot chocolate vibes. In the background the wood remains and a slight dark fruit note joins. Great start to the final third. About a half inch in and the chocolate and dark fruit note really pick up and dominate the palate, I honestly could not have asked for more in the final third, absolutely delicious. On the retro I get the dark fruit and a wood note, with a slight coffee note.
