Lampert Limitada 2023

Founded in 2016 by Dr. Stefan Lampert, during vacation in Thailand. He dreamed of a company that made cigars specifically for an individual, similar to how one would get a custom suit. After gaining a following, Lampert started releasing blends he favored. Limitada is a new line to be released this year at the upcoming PCA Tradeshow. These cigars are being soft-released with Luxury Cigar Club! Limitada was hand rolled in 2023, at Tobaccos de Costa Rica. Expect ample tasting notes of dried fruit, espresso, cream, and a healthy spice through the nose. – Luxury Cigar Club

Conclusion:

A blast of black pepper hit on light up, followed by some red pepper and wood. Shortly after leather enters as the dominant note. Underneath the leather is a cocoa creaminess that takes the edge off the heavy leather note. About half an inch in the cocoa turns to a milk chocolate and really takes this up a notch. Delicious creamy milk chocolate, like hot chocolate. First third ends with creamy, creamy chocolate. Absolutely delicious. Retro on the first third gave some slight pepper and wood. As the second third begins a strong and delicious dark cherry note takes over, mixing with the chocolate note from the first third. Can not complain at all. Underneath the cherry chocolate bomb is a maltiness and slight leather note rounding out the flavor profile. Smoke output is immense, with every puff creating clouds of smoke. Slight pepper added to the profile on the retro. One touch up and relight needed as the burn line strayed off course a bit. Final third continues with the dark cherry and chocolate, but soon after the cherry note fades away and is replaced with leather and maltiness. The chocolate is now more of a pure cocoa note, adding a bitterness to the mix. The retro in the final third emphasizes that cherry note and boosts the score of this one, taking it from a solid smoke to an excellent smoke, in my opinion. Medium-Full smoke. Final score of 93.
